# Invite customers

> Minting member accounts for a tenant — and why operator seats come from elsewhere.

**Invite member** on a customer's tenant mints their user accounts. Send them
the single-use code; they follow the [customer guide](/customers/your-account)
and can start renting your pool capacity the moment they sign in.

| Property | Value |
| ---------- | ------------------------- |
| Uses | Single-use |
| Validity | 14 days |
| Visibility | Shown to you exactly once |
| Scope | Bound to that tenant |

Mint one per teammate of theirs who needs console access.

## Operator seats are a different door

The operator console mints **member** invites only, deliberately.

To add someone to *your own* team, ask NeoChamber for an invite naming your
operator — see [Your team](/operators/your-team). An account that decides which
datacenter a new operator joins is a decision that belongs one level up.

## If a customer is locked out

There is no "email me a reset link" — the platform sends no email at all. Issue
them a **one-time reset code** instead: single-use, expires in an hour, redeemed
at `/reset` with their new password.

Their account, tenant, and history are untouched; every other session of theirs
is signed out.
